Description

METHOD OF PREPARATION

1.Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sausage and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.

2.Add bell pepper and onion to the skillet. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until softened. Stir in garlic and cook for an additional minute.

3.Pour in diced tomatoes, chicken broth, heavy cream, HarleysHouse King mustard, and thyme. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a simmer.

4.Add penne pasta to the skillet and stir to combine. Let the pasta simmer for 10-12 minutes, or according to package instructions, stirring occasionally, until pasta is cooked through and sauce has thickened slightly.

5.Serve immediately with grated Parmesan cheese on the side, if desired.
